Yes, you can use Pulse even without a dynamic tariff. However, Pulse only reaches its full potential when used in conjunction with our dynamic tariff, Lumina. While Lumina gives you access to the lowest electricity prices, Pulse ensures that your household automatically benefits from this advantage around the clock. Without a dynamic tariff, Pulse optimizes the self-consumption rate of your solar power. Pulse forecasts the solar power generation for the next day and then utilizes the flexibility of your heat pump, wallbox, and battery storage to maximize your self-consumption of solar power.

You register via the application process, and we'll take care of the rest. We'll cancel your contract with your current provider and register you with the grid operator. Since several external parties are involved in this process (e.g., electricity suppliers, grid operators), the switch can take up to three weeks. As soon as we've successfully registered you with the grid operator, you'll immediately receive a contract and supply confirmation by email.

No. The switchover is seamless, so we'll supply you immediately after your old contract ends. Even if any problems were to arise, the legally mandated basic supply guarantees a continuous electricity supply.

Theoretically, no, we support all available meters. However, to fully utilize the potential of your dynamic tariff through intelligent consumption, you need a smart meter. As a Cloover electricity customer, you can apply for free installation (costs from the grid operator can be up to €890, see Federal Network Agency ). Only with this meter can we measure and bill your consumption hourly and pass on the savings from your cost-optimized consumption to you.
